About

I've been building things for people for as long as I can remember — long before anyone paid me to. Curiosity is the engine: I like understanding how something works, then making it work better for whoever has to use it.

The trait I'm proudest of is being dependable. Whether it's a client I've never met or a team I see every day, people hand me a problem and trust that I'll carry it from start to finish — and that I'll still be there, level-headed, on the day something breaks. I'd rather earn quiet trust over time than chase quick wins.

I'm also easily pulled toward new things. I've written a thesis on the geometry of tiling surfaces, edited video for a science-outreach project that won a community award, and competed in programming marathons — and I'm almost always in the middle of learning whatever's next. The range is the point: doing only one thing bores me, and moving between them makes me better at each.
